2 Rohingya refugees test Covid-19 positive in Bangladesh

Two Rohingyas refugees in Cox’s Bazar have tested positive for Covid-19, the highly contagious and deadly disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus.

The principal of Cox’s Bazar Medical College and the additional refugee relief and repatriation commissioner confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Thursday.

One of the Rohingya refugees is from the Kutupalong refugee camp, while the other one is from Camp 1E.

Both of them have been placed in an isolation center.
